Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies


Makes Approximately 22 Cookies

Ingredients:

3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup White Sugar
1/2 Cup Salted Softened Butter
1 Egg
1 Egg Yolk
2 Teaspoons Vanilla Extract
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Teaspoon Baking Powder
1 Bag Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Chips

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl whisk together the white and brown sugar. Add the butter and mix well. Stir in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla and mix until it reaches a creamy consistency, about 2 minutes. Gently fold in the flour and baking powder. Fold in the bag of chocolate chips.

Refrigerate the cookie dough for at least 2-3 hours or overnight. Take out of the fridge and arrange the cookies on a baking sheet.

Preheat oven to 325F and bake for 13-15 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden brown. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes then remove from sheet and finish cooling. Store in airtight container or wrapped plate.
