  • While some online reviews might claim waxing is painless, it's important to be realistic: waxing can definitely involve some discomfort. However, I'm dedicated to making your experience as comfortable as possible through advanced techniques, high-quality waxes, and efficient practices for a smooth and comfortable waxing experience

  • Appointment times vary depending on the service. However, I am a SPEED waxer. For intimate wax services, you’ll be in-n-out within 15-20mins.

  • Waxing thrives on preparation! For optimal results, your hair needs to be at least a ½ inch long (think grain of rice size). This takes about 3-4 weeks of growout. This length ensures the wax can effectively grip and remove the hair from the root, minimizing discomfort and maximizing smoothness.

Shaving or trimming leading up to your appointment can make waxing less effective, leaving behind stubble and increasing discomfort. Waiting the full 4 weeks after shaving is crucial!

  • Waxing isn’t one-and-done. It’s a process. Plan to get a few appointments in before the wedding night or that 2-week vacay!

There are several hair cycles we need to remove and sync together for the smoothest results! Your first 3-4 waxes will last you about 1 - 1.5 weeks. However, with consistency and aftercare, you can get up to 3 weeks of Dolphine smooth skin!

  • Every 4-6 weeks!
4 weeks if you have faster growth. 6 weeks for optimal results!

Generally at 4 weeks not all your hair is ready, this could result in you leaving w/ stubble.

At 6 weeks all the hair cycles have grown out and are ready to be removed, making your wax last longer than if they were removed prematurely.
*This varies from person to person depending on their individual growth patterns.

How the heck am I going to go 6 weeks between appts. when I’m used to shaving every day?
With frequent waxing, your hair growth slows, gets thinner, softer, and sparser! It’s not going to grow back the same as a shaved hair. That’s the beauty of it! With waxing, even when there is hair growth it’s not as noticeable or irritating!

BEWARE: This only occurs because we’re damaging your hair follicles consistently! If you go too long between your appts. (8+ weeks) or shave in between, then your hair will start to grow back thicker and sharper, erasing all the progress we’ve made!
So stick to your schedule and if you have trouble waiting the time frame let me know and we can troubleshoot what works best for YOU.

  • At-home care is VITAL to optimal wax results. Waxing is a process, as you transition from shaving you’ll probably get one or two, but with constant appointments and at-home exfoliation we can stop ingrowns in their tracks!

To exfoliate at home the best thing to use is a bristled dry brush. Use this twice a week, in the shower, rubbing in circular motions for 10-15 seconds. This helps sluff off any dead skin cells that are preventing your new thinner hair from pushing out of your skin.

Follow this with an ingrown serum to clear out any dead skin cells from the inside out! It’s also great for treating any active ingrowns!

Both aftercare products are sold in studio for your convenience!

  • Pre Wax:
Avoid caffeine the day of and take an over-the-counter medication for inflammation 30 min before your appt.

    Post Wax:
for the first 24 Hrs Stick to the 3 S’s -
    No Sex
    No Swimming
    No Sweating

Doing any of these things could clog your pores, resulting in infections and ingrown hairs! Yikes!
